Year 1: Design Technology

Moving Vehicles - Wheels and Axles 
In this unit, Year 1 have learnt that wheels need to be round to rotate and that for a wheel to move it must be attached to a rotating axle. Year 1 designed a vehicle that includes wheels, axles and axle holders fixed to a chassis, which will allow the wheels to move. We then invited our grown ups into class for a lovely afternoon of bringing our designs to life. It was amazing to see how creative everyone was and compare our fabulous creations.
